Weekday Summary (2)

23rd may - fridayclinic day today! dr d’s thursday clinic ran from new morning to afternoon.. busy bustling.. today only had morning clinic - which was really quite plentiful.. got to see a couple of thyroid, parathyroid cases.. and the adviser with pleasure fielded my questions, and in reality let me examine her patients.. =) yay i love dr z, though she was the one who scolded me for my cui 2-hand restrain.. nvm, train over the wkend..was surprisingly done by 2pm extra! wah. i thought it was the golden opportunity to visit fort mchenry, since it was good bear up against today + my time to tour baltimore was sustained out since endocrine team is usually very busy, and fort mchenry closes by 5pm, and it is quite far away, with bus timings of 30min waits!rushed back to hall to change, ran towards the metro and the connecting bus service few 1.. due managed to catch it! if not would have to wait representing another 30minutes, leaving me 1 hour to tour the place only.. -_-”

fort mchenry!the long walk into the grounds of fort mchenry was surely serene.. the grounds are now more of a giant park of sorts, with the sides extending to the waterline, and so many greenery around, barely hinting of the fierce battle that took place almost 2 centuries ago.. you can really see people jogging at the edges!and along the Italian autostrada in, were stone plaques commemorating the entry of the different states into the appearance of the amalgamation..

straight away occasionally, if you googled fort mchenry, it would tell you that it is a star-shaped fort that played a crucial duty in the one of the wars of 1812 in american history, defending baltimore from the invading british army.. as a result of that battle, a babies american Homo sapiens by the name of francis scott key, was inspired to compose a poem, which eventually became the american national anthem, the brilliant-spangled banner..*haha, everytime i hear the star-spangled banner, i think of lk in lieu of.. right, lk?

a perfect to illustrate the unique shape of the fort..sat through the video presentation, which had a awe-inspiring understanding of the lady-spangled important at the end of it, whilst overlooking the american falter flying high above the fort..shall not busy too much on the history here.. i’m sure those who are interested can easily provoke it below par google or wikipedia.. but suffice to say, it was a rather engaging story.. =)
